Small group lessons at the keyboard capitalize on your child’s delight in making music with others and allow children to have success quickly. With material for two years of lessons your child will learn to play by ear and to read music. A much-loved piano repertoire of familiar songs improves his or her ability to read and play with fluency – resulting in pride and excitement in making music!
To continue the fun at home, you’ll receive a listening CD and a practice CD with special tracks for practice each week. Notation games, repertoire pieces, sight-reading pieces, opportunities for composing, and more are in the comprehensive learning materials that help children stay excited about playing and encourage them to make music long after the lessons stop. At CMS, parents also receive the Musikgarten parent guidebook. You’ll both love Musikgarten!
Payment, either in full or the first of 2 payments or monthly payments, is due at the time of registration.
Rates 16 weeks:
In full: $393 (includes materials and parent book [1-time purchase]) + $16 registration fee. Deduct $10 if you’ve already purchased a parent book.
2-payments: $164/each payment + $89 (includes materials and parent book [1-time purchase], registration and payment plan fees). Deduct $10 if you’ve already purchased a parent book.
5-monthly payments: $65.60/each payment + $89 (includes materials and parent book [1-time purchase], registration and payment plan fees). Deduct $10 if you’ve already purchased a parent book.
NOTE: You can join any Musikgarten class in progress with the exception of the keyboard classes. When you join in progress, tuition is prorated to the number of classes you take.
Musikgarten schedules are subject to change based on enrollment.
Scholarship applications are due by 5pm Wednesday, August 28.
